For over 30 years, the Olympia staff has worked with a variety of retreat groups from church groups to family reunions and youth groups to adult groups to provide a wonderful weekend retreat. Our Olympia staff is committed to working with you to provide an outstanding experience for your entire group.

Church Youth Group Retreats

Camp Olympia is the perfect place for your Church Youth Group to create fun and lasting memories. The many group activities offered make it easy for the youth to fellowship and form a stronger bond with one another. The beautiful, natural environment is the perfect setting for group Bible Studies or individuals to get to know the Lord. Indoor meeting space is also available.

Activities - With so many activity options available, there is something for all Church Youth Groups at Olympia. Youth at Olympia are never bored. Would your group enjoy a game of softball, sand volleyball, or flag football… or all three? Olympia has fields and courts available for use for any type of game. Youth love swinging through the trees in our high-elements Ropes Course and riding Horseback through the trails. Plus, the new Camp Olympia Jumping Pillow is endless fun for youth and leaders alike! We will work with your Youth Group Director to organize activities perfect for your retreat.

Accommodations - Cabins are setup for group fellowship, with 14-16 bunks in each. Cabins are organized in clusters, with some clusters having 2 cabins and others having 4 cabins. Girls’ cabins are on one end of camp with boys’ cabins on the other.

Activities - With so many activity options available, all types of church groups enjoy Olympia. Olympia has fields and courts available for use for any type of game. Plus, the lake, pool and challenge course offer many other fun activities. Our Retreats Director will work with you to plan activities that interest your group. While all activities are available for each type of church retreat, the activities listed below have proven to be favorites of prior groups.

Activities – Some groups want to enjoy the low-stress, low activity weekend, while others want a fun-filled activity schedule. The Retreats Director will work with your group leader to accommodate the interests of your group.

Activities – By far the most popular team-building activity at Olympia is the Challenge Course. The variety of low elements on the course is designed to promote teamwork and communication. It is “Challenge by Choice” on the high elements course, which includes the climbing wall, pamper pole, “The Screamer” and zip line. In addition to the Challenge Course, team sports are also popular activities. Olympia has many fields and courts designed specifically for playing flag football, softball, soccer, sand volleyball, and many other team sports.
